Hi there! Long time listener of the podcast, first time poster.

Last night's show was pretty interesting. I have to admit, I've been converted to being a Sylar fan. I don't think there is anyone on this show who looks like they are having as much fun doing what they are doing other than Zachary Quinto.

Anyway, looking forward to your thoughts on the roundtable episode!

I don't think you guys realize that I can't say anything anymore cause you all take me seriously. LMAO! Everything that comes out of my mouth is automatically a spoiler for you, even my guesses. It's weird when you have to preface all your sentences with "It's not a spoiler but..." lol That's why I have to spray fake-spoilers in with the truth so you I can keep you guys guessing. I only filter for my spoiler segment and try to be as true as possible.

Did anybody else gasp, hold their hand to their mouth and got teary-eyed when Gabriel accidentally slammed into the chairs where his son was hiding? We haven't seen him that compassionate for a long time, if he ever was -- not counting his watches and his mother.

By the way, the little kid who played Noah played dead almost too well -- a lot of times you can tell actors are still alive (of course they are). But he was like putty in Gabriel's arms; it added so much to the scene.

Yeah, I noticed that too. That's why I didn't feel at all upset when Sylar went nuclear. I was actually kind of hoping that Future Claire would bite it in the blast. I know the writers are going for ambiguity, keep us unsure who we should be rooting for an all that, but the minute Claire was willing to kill a kid, I was just waiting for either Sylar or Peter to lay a smackdown on her butt.

i didn't totally melt, but it was pretty sad

The only reason I didn't break down, was because up until then the kid had been pretty emotionally dead too. *deadpanvoice* Where's your scar, uncle Peter. (despite the fact the kid hadn't even been looking in that direction up until that moment) But that scene shocked the hell out of me. You don't see four year old kids get killed a lot on tv.

All in all I enjoyed this episode, not one of the best. A solid 3 out of 5 episode
but I'm a bit worried about the "go to the future. see what we did wrong, then go back and stop it" angle.

It is too much like season 1

Some of the heroes super powers can be abused by the writers if they don't watch themselves.
There are characters with time traveling abilities, others with healing and resurrecting blood
and Candace's "see what I want you to see" ability giving the writers too many "get out of jail free" cards.

They can pretty much write any scenario, kill off any character, show us anything they want and use one of those powers to resolve it.
I'm happy with the way they have done the show so far, so I'll trust they know what they are doing

I think we're all just assuming they can fix it this time. Maybe instead of saving the day like they did in years one and two, they'll only be able to delay it. Heck, they could even re-title that episode Small Victories.

Of course this is assuming Tim Kring is brave enough to pull it off AND that the studios would let him get away with a "happy ending but not really."

I didn't like the nice Sylar. He turned from a cool Mr Evil to a nerdy home husband.   

But when those shy quiet ones go off, they go off with a bang.
