They were probably rushing to her room off screen. I think, from an artistic standpoint, it would have ruined the moment a litte bit.

Or that whole "Let me go" thing was basically saying Matt was "pulling the plug".  Meaning they were taking her off whatever life support she was on.  In which case there is no need for doctors to come in

Wow, I really like that. I mean that it makes sense, and it is also artistic.  I really do think that that is the best possibility thought of yet.

Absolutely. I will probably need to watch this scene again to get the full metaphor, but it makes sense.
As much as I like this idea from an emotional and dramatic standpoint, there is one major flaw with this scenario, euthanasia is illegal in the US.
The only way a doctor or family could turn off life support in such a short period of time was if there was total brain death.
We know this wasn't the case as Matt was interacting with Daphne's mind.

She was dying from the result of an untreated gun shot wound.
This means the most likely cause of death was from blood poisoning causing major organs to shut down.
This will continue until either the heart or the brain dies.

Daphne's "let me go" plea to Matt is basically her telling him to "let me die."

Good point.. but was Matt with his mind trick maybe able to hold on to her consciousness keeping her from becoming brain dead?

Just a thought... perhaps he was able to stimulate something in her that the doctors couldn't get brain activity from.

I know.. over thinking it.  But I am just bummed she had to die.

The brain does stay alive for I believe 5-6 minutes after blood flow stops, and it's been postulated that as the activity slows, it experiences a time dilation effect. That whole sequence could've taken a few seconds in real time after the doctors had left. (Just like how you can have dreams that last days in mind time, but actually take seconds in subjective time.)

anyone have the same thought as me at the end of the episode? hmm? LOL

they're going to end the show, with Matt Parkman Jr. "Touch and going" the statue of liberty, and the statue of liberty defeating Sylar once and for all! (stepping on him maybe?)

LOL, I just had that thought when they showed Peter and Angela inside the statue  Cheesy

I'm just listening to the post-show episode and noticed a few things with Sylar.

He doesn't need to kill Doyle for two reasons:
1. Since meeting Arthur Sylar has learned to extract powers without having to look at the brain (he might still look at the brain for old time's sake)
2. He already got Doyle's Puppetmastery and used it previously

Maybe Sylar has a way to find the people whose powers he has?
This way he might always find Claire and giving Doyle to Danko might be his means to find where the other people (whose powers he still hasn't got) are stored.

As for Janice: Matt "left" her when he found out about her sleeping with his partner and while she might have know that the baby was his, he didn't give her any chance to do so (or just wouldn't believe her)

Hiro's powers might all come back when Ando supercharges Matt jr.

Episode 3 20 Cold Snap

Thoughts:

One of the coolest intros leading to the title of an episode that Ive seen on Heroes- Ali held captive in the "heating" room with the title Cold Snap appearing as we see her breathe out a puff of cold air and the title disappears. NICE.

Micah is Rebel- meh. I figured as much. Hes grown several inches and his voice has changed since we last saw and heard from him though.

Was that little blink/wink thing Ms. Shattered Popsicle gave Noah supposed to mean that shes still alive? Probably. Either way, we know Ali Larter has another "life" left since theres basically supposed to be 3 of her. Two down, one to go.

Sylar is going to help the slimy bad guy cant remember his name? RATS. And I was expecting SO much more when I saw the stuffed rabbit and Sylar lurking in the corner from the previews. It figures though- Sylar probably will cut a deal with him because he wants to be the only one with powers left to roam "free".

The Matt & Daphne goodbye scene was predictable and ridiculous. The Peter rescuing his mom scene was actually pretty cool...but the Hiro, Ando and baby Matt scenes- PRICELESS
