After Sink Hole Sam had his Haitian wannabe lay hands on Hiro, things didn't seem to go as planned.  So this week's question is:

What the heck happened to Hiro?

Hmmm...no thoughts? 

Where/when did he go?  Was Hiro "Haitianed"?  Is Watson the legendary assistant of Sherlock Holmes?   Will we next see Hiro on the U.S.S. Enterprise messing with another space time continuum?  Was this just a device to not have to worry about what happened to Charlie?

I really, truly, honestly have no idea. None whatsoever. Never before has this happened to me. I usually have SOME inkling or suspicion, but not this time. Nothing. Sorry.

Ok, since no one else is stepping up, I'm going to wildly speculate....

Whazzizname, the anti-haitian, seems to have some sort of mind power, but we're not told what it is, so I'm just going to guess. Since the only use he had previous to whatever he did to Hiro was to open up Sylar/Nathan's suppressed memories, I'm going to say his power is awakening parts of the mind that have been suppressed.

That would mean that Sammy wanted him to awaken some part of Hiro's mind, to Sammy's advantage. Maybe awakening Hiro's latent compassion for his plight. BUT, it had the unforseen effect of Awakening Hiro to the use of his own power.

Hitherto, a lot of Hiro's unfocused (meaning when he teleports without meaning to)jumps have been to places and time which are personally important to him. New York, with the comic with him in it and the explosion; Feudal Japan, meeting his own personal hero - Takezo Kensei; and most recently to Charlie's side in time to save her. Obviously, these are NOT random, but Hiro hasn't really understood how or why he does this at sometimes inconvenient moments.

As Hiro's mind is awakened by the anti-haitian, He suddenly understands how it works, and immediately whisks himself off to the place and time that will take him to Charlie. Doubtless this focused use will hasten his condition, But Hiro being who he is, he cannot not do it.

You may all now tell me how I'm wrong.
